THE DEBATE

image

Tonight another GOP debate, I do have a dog in this fight because frankly the DNC is full of has-been old white guys or socialist on the verge of being a communists so I’m not thrilled with ever voting demo-liberal I’d rather vote for a paper towel over Bernie Sanders or Clinton.
What I read on the Emags and Twitter is tonight’s debate is over substance this will separate the adults from the children. (Can’t say men from boys since Carly is running).

What does substance mean, and what does it mean from a liberal network like CNBC. No more questions like “would you really let a woman die and not let her have an abortion” Megan Kelly should have been fired for that moronic question to Scott Walker.
I don’t have faith in CNBC, they do good when they show formula 1 Grand Prix’s for NBC Sports occasionally but besides that who watches CNBC well I guess you will be if you watch the debate.

Will Trump bounce back will Carson surge forward will Rubio scream I don’t know.
One thing I guess is this debate might thin the herd a bit, maybe Bush stumbles maybe Christie has mob ties.

One thing I do hope is that they the candidates put their energy in defeating the socialist democrats yes the democrat socialist that is what Sanders identifies himself and what he and his party wants for this country.

Forget the back stabbing guys and gal let’s focus on winning the prize regardless if you are nominated or not.

CHRISTIANITY AND AMERICA

12

If we accept the notion that America should not be or is not a Christian national we fail to see the consequences that could have been and will be.
The founding framers attempted to design the constitution with the adaptation of natural law. They were of course a few ticks off but still maintained the importance of the need of The God of the Bible essence to be an integral part of the framework.

A strong percentage of our framers belonged to one church denomination or another, whether they were truly saved is not ours to judge but we have to know this affiliation to a Judeo-Christian church had to influence their judgment when creating a country such as America.
If we take Christianity away then we need only to take away some of our founding fathers like George Washington wondering would we have won the revolution without him and his Christian influence. Would a country full of atheist, Islamism, Buddhist and Hindus could have challenged the crown.

Would we still have a two party political system with the democrats and the Wigs parties? One could argue there would be no need for a man like Abraham Lincoln and how long would America continue slavery without the objection of the Christians.

In 1821 Benjamin Lunday, a Quaker from Ohio, started an anti-slavery newspaper “The Genius of Universal Emancipation.” 1830: The Plantation Mission Movement began. Methodist chapels were constructed on many plantations. 1959 John Brown raid on Haper’s ferry are just a few of the many Christian movements that combated slavery in America.

Christian missionaries moved in to helping the Native Americans, Christianizing many tribes over the years one notable being the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

As America became more prosperous missionary work flourished, one can easily criticize America’s greed but one cannot take away from prosperous people that gave and continue to give for and to missionaries to help the poor and disadvantaged in this country and abroad with privet contributions.

Much of our colleges we have today started out as Christian based education, Harvard, Yale, Princeton to name a few.

Civil rights movement of the 1960’s was heavily Christian with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and seminary students like John Lewis

We can argue and debate on this issue but it’s fairly easy to see the Christian influences in this country are huge. Can we say we are not a Christian nation well I guess one can make the case but we have to say we are a nation of Christian’s and a nation that has been impacted by Christianity. Can you make a case that our government should be secular, yes you can but we must then demand or statesmen and women to be Godly?

Our government functionality should be unbiased to everyone but the people that fill those positions in government should be Godly good statesmen.

If we have bad statesmen then we have bad government, ungodly statesmen ungodly government. In past it was important that anyone serving the public have some ties to a Judeo-Christian believing church of some kind. You can argue this is not fair for a county that embraces all religions all faiths but I’m not sure your argument would be valid.

Go back to the founding framers and their original intentions of natural law, this requires a statesman to know and understand moral law to govern. Can men and women of other faith know and understand good and bad and how morality plays out in a society; to an extent they can but they will fail to grasp why and who set these laws in motion thus the slow migration from a good and moral set of rules to a mixture of moral relativism.

I suspect the last few sentences will enrage some people, we can say America was not intended to be a Christian only nation but we have to admit it is a nation of Christians that have impacted society and helped design country based on a rule and law held on a notion of a creator and one God. A country based on a God with a moral law to protect and govern all that live in this great nation.

WHY TRUMP ?

7

I was reading a blog by a fellow blogger on one theory why Donald Trump is doing so well in the polls right now.
Normally I don’t trust polls I mean when was the last time you were asked to respond to questions on a poll for me it’s been years so I wonder what kind of people have the time to take polls.
The blogger actually had a decent theory one I wouldn’t necessarily refute but I felt it was short on reasons and I think there is more to why Trump is doing well.
Interesting Jeb Bush made a statement to Fox News a few weeks ago when asked the same question. He responded “ask me again in two months”. To me that was good response, Trump is high on insults and telling himself how good he looks but short on debating skills not that it is presssing in leadership but one still needs to get their point across in a full on debate with 8 other self absorbed people who all want your vote. (Special note Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal are exempt from this, you know where my vote is going)
So why is Trump doing so well, first off the GOP got its rear end handed to themselves by moderate candidates with the likes of John McCain and Mitt Romney even more reason not to trust so called experts of Karl Rove and Ann Colter who shoved these two losers down our throats.
The DNC and its establishment has kicked the GOP candidates around for the last 8 years and now finally a new non establishment candidate comes out and swings back at the government and its minions. I believe this has gotten people to perk up and open their eyes and start listening.
Yes the Donald says things that may seem inappropriate but I believe that is what people want to here. Trump says what you and I have been saying for over 8 years.

Even Ben Carson has said some so called PC incorrectness  that you and I are saying to ourselves right now so it’s no surprise to see Carson leveling up to Trumps poll numbers

8.

Trumps appeal is he hits back, he calls it as he sees it. Somebody makes fun of Trump or talks ill of him and he does the same back.
Trump gets in their faces and tells everyone he can do it better, whether he can or not does not matter right now people are tired of being pushed around by our government and they love it when somebody pushes back.

People are tired of the same old game one reason why I think Bernie Sanders is doing fairly well with liberals. Sanders is adding something new to an already socialist Democratic Party by promising more extreme socialism of free this and free that by way of class warfare, Bernie’s going to stick it to those rich Wall Street guys and take what it yours and give it to everyone or at least back to the government to spend more.

Trumps saying and doing what people want to do and what people want to hear out of a candidate regardless of the substance or lack thereof.

Whether or not Jeb Bush is right; for now the rest of the insider candidates have to be worried about what if. What if Trump or Carson keep rolling on and one of them wins this thing?

Final thoughts, although I’m not a fan of either Trump or Carson at this time I do see something good about these two men. They are standing up to the establishment and showing future GOP candidates what needs to be done.

Cowering to RINO’s like Rove, Romney and misspoken commentators of Colter and the moderates at Fox News won’t get you support of every GOP voter.

What voters want is a man or a woman that can simply say yes or no. Simply put in Matthew 5:37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one
