CHRISTIANITY AND AMERICA

12

If we accept the notion that America should not be or is not a Christian national we fail to see the consequences that could have been and will be.
The founding framers attempted to design the constitution with the adaptation of natural law. They were of course a few ticks off but still maintained the importance of the need of The God of the Bible essence to be an integral part of the framework.

A strong percentage of our framers belonged to one church denomination or another, whether they were truly saved is not ours to judge but we have to know this affiliation to a Judeo-Christian church had to influence their judgment when creating a country such as America.
If we take Christianity away then we need only to take away some of our founding fathers like George Washington wondering would we have won the revolution without him and his Christian influence. Would a country full of atheist, Islamism, Buddhist and Hindus could have challenged the crown.

Would we still have a two party political system with the democrats and the Wigs parties? One could argue there would be no need for a man like Abraham Lincoln and how long would America continue slavery without the objection of the Christians.

In 1821 Benjamin Lunday, a Quaker from Ohio, started an anti-slavery newspaper “The Genius of Universal Emancipation.” 1830: The Plantation Mission Movement began. Methodist chapels were constructed on many plantations. 1959 John Brown raid on Haper’s ferry are just a few of the many Christian movements that combated slavery in America.

Christian missionaries moved in to helping the Native Americans, Christianizing many tribes over the years one notable being the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

As America became more prosperous missionary work flourished, one can easily criticize America’s greed but one cannot take away from prosperous people that gave and continue to give for and to missionaries to help the poor and disadvantaged in this country and abroad with privet contributions.

Much of our colleges we have today started out as Christian based education, Harvard, Yale, Princeton to name a few.

Civil rights movement of the 1960’s was heavily Christian with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and seminary students like John Lewis

We can argue and debate on this issue but it’s fairly easy to see the Christian influences in this country are huge. Can we say we are not a Christian nation well I guess one can make the case but we have to say we are a nation of Christian’s and a nation that has been impacted by Christianity. Can you make a case that our government should be secular, yes you can but we must then demand or statesmen and women to be Godly?

Our government functionality should be unbiased to everyone but the people that fill those positions in government should be Godly good statesmen.

If we have bad statesmen then we have bad government, ungodly statesmen ungodly government. In past it was important that anyone serving the public have some ties to a Judeo-Christian believing church of some kind. You can argue this is not fair for a county that embraces all religions all faiths but I’m not sure your argument would be valid.

Go back to the founding framers and their original intentions of natural law, this requires a statesman to know and understand moral law to govern. Can men and women of other faith know and understand good and bad and how morality plays out in a society; to an extent they can but they will fail to grasp why and who set these laws in motion thus the slow migration from a good and moral set of rules to a mixture of moral relativism.

I suspect the last few sentences will enrage some people, we can say America was not intended to be a Christian only nation but we have to admit it is a nation of Christians that have impacted society and helped design country based on a rule and law held on a notion of a creator and one God. A country based on a God with a moral law to protect and govern all that live in this great nation.

THE LEFT AND POPE FRANCIS’S CONUNDRUM

pope francis

The national Review released a nice article more or less better defining Pope Francis’s stance on climate change and economical equality leaving the Leftist environmental, economic extremist and the Pope in somewhat of a conundrum if you ask me.

Pope Frances further defines his belief in what it means to embrace climate change and economic justice in which one comes to the conclusion that Pope Francis feels they are connect, it’s a good size article that needs to be read so I urge you to do so.  The Pope’s Encyclical, at Heart, Is About Us, Not Trees and Snail Darters

Pope Francis over the last few years had made statements that have been surly noted as communist in notion, climate change is the new communism if you don’t feel that way look at the old communism or in that fact both China, North Korea and Vietnam and see the defining attributes they have in common with climate change. Note that climate change is nothing new to the Left, when the Berlin wall fell western communism just found a new place to hide.

Economic Equality has been a topic as well by Francis, from the National Catholic Reporter Carol Glatz reports that the Popes idea of faith and giving go hand in hand something we would all like to see people like Joel Osteen and TD Jakes read and practice.

The issue with this concept is it does not fully understand or fix the poor just that we need to become poor to have faith. I’m always quick to go back on Matthew chapter 26 verse 11.

Now Jesus was explaining more than just the poor to his disciples but it does tells us an undeniable truth, that we will never rid the poor nor the sick they will always be with us. No giving until it hurts will change that, we are not to hoard our money but I don’t think Jesus expects us to go broke trying to fix something that cannot be fixed.

This lays the conundrum for both the Pope and the Left; how fare will they take each other before they are forced to abandon each another on difference of ideology and yes their ideology splits.

Now mind you this is just opinion and conviction from Pope Francis, whether he sees it or not he is embracing communism with his economic and environmental ideology. In my opinion the Pope does see it but wants to change the concept of socialism to his brand or what I would say the true brand of socialism.

Socialism was tried once and it failed when Adam and Eve sinned and God threw them out of the garden. After that socialism has tried and tried as it might, it has even employed the government aka communism and that still has not worked and will never work because of mans inherent will to sin.

I get what Pope Francis is wanting, he and I would make great neighbors but no way in heaven would I vote for him to office.

The conundrum that Pope Francis faces is that yes the Left is all for this, they love what Francis is preaching until he said that being economically equal and environmentally conscious means we must be Pro Life and not with just newborns but with everyone one and thing on this earth and that is where the ideology splits

This is a must and the Pope knows this and has to push this otherwise he loses his Christian credibility. Equality means everyone, young and old regardless of how weak or strong, ignorant or inelegant we must have Pro Life otherwise all this is a lie.

The conundrum for the Left is they know this is a lie and they themselves don’t necessarily live this lie. Don’t get me wrong there are a few uneducated leftist hippies out there that attempt it but few will live it to the end. The educated Left truly does not have equality in mind just power and ignorance and Pro Life cannot be a part of this social experiment.

To the Left Pro Life cannot gel with communism because if makes not only the individual but a government accountable for their misgivings. Yes the government could mandate no abortion, it is not an option, make it illegal and it will care for the unwanted child and the elderly but that opens up a can of who will pay for this and again accountability becomes in play, judgment, sin there is no irrelevance in a world that embraces life.

I believe the Pope would say we the people and the churches of the people will take care of these children and take care of the elderly that have served our society something that use to be and has been lost with an ever intrusive government. So one can see if we allow the government to take care or enforce private organizations to do their bidding the society looses freedom and free will.

The Pope’s communism demands that not only people be accountable but the government is as well and that won’t happen because again we are inherently evil and seek the best way out not God’s way in which is always best but is only from a free will based on a freedom he gives us not the government.

Yes while the Popes communism seems like a wonderful utopia where everybody loves everything it is not only impossible but it no longer allows for freedom and free will. A government cannot enforce free will and freedom it can only protect it.

Again socialism in the Garden of Eden would have worked if sin was not committed, there would be no need for communism because people would be responsible themselves and not seek to cause their neighbor to stumble. Government would have never been in need because with no sin people will not seek to kill, steal and destroy.

Pope Francis’s utopia requires communism because he knows the heart of man, and government is needed to police that heart. Where he fails is his understanding mans inherent nature and he forgets the heart of man. He forgets its man that is the government that will police the heart and actions of man; see the problem it just spins leaving a devastation of corruption, payoffs, crony capitalism, and abuse of power.

The conundrum is this, will Pope Francis’s remarks on Pro Life turn off the Leftist that is needed to enact this communism he dreams of. Will the Left leave the Pope because his communism is not their communism?

Regardless of his social and political clout I believe the Left will sneakingly distance themselves from Pope Francis because of this one disagreement being too great to sacrifice their ideology of relativism.

This is a dangerous path for Pope Francis to travel on, time will only tell if the snares of liberalism will be too much for society to handle even Pope Francis.

THOUGHTS OF THE DAY: 1

MY THOUGHTS OF THE DAY: APRIL 23

gun-control-logic

This is the first of what I hope to be many thoughts based on my Question of the day. Facebook is a fun place to play, some get serious as all and some keep it light. I personally play the middle I guess, I love to have fun and share things but I also have convictions that I believe in and I’m not shy to express those convictions or opinions.

This is what I call Thoughts of the day answering my Question of the day, mind you it’s a few days off so as to give everyone a chance to view and express their opinion of the question of the day.

If you have missed any of my questions of the day feel free to go to my FB page and scroll down and give your opinion, I don’t add my opinion, I’m not there to argue my opinion at that point it’s your chance to express your opinion and thoughts, go ahead and argue away the goal for me is just to collect data from everyone to see what people think out there in reality land.

My first question I posted had no replies and that might have been based on the day and the subject of the question. Some of my news or lot of my news comes from conservative outlets like Breitbart Charisma, BarbWire and the Washington Times much of that news is never covered by the main stream media like NBC, CBS and Fox so I suspect this is why no one bothered to answer the question and it was rather written in way so as to have a twist agenda.

My question was  “Is the fact Tim McGraw playing at a gun control concert similar to having him say I’m not for socialized economic equality but I think minimum wage should be $20.00?”

For those of you not understanding what has been going on is McGraw has been called out for his decision for playing at the Sandy Hook Promise gun control fundraiser. McGraw says he’s not for gun control but is singing to raise money for the families of Sandy Hook but he’s raising money for the group Sandy Hook Promise which is a gun control group.

McGraw wants it both ways, he wants to help by jumping in with a gun control group but does not want to be labeled as associated with gun control.

A twitter post that I viewed brought up a good point, most conservatives own guns or are for non gun control and most conservatives enjoy and buy country music so you can see McGraw would want to make a distinction of what his intentions are. I feel McGraw has been Holywoodized and falls for leftist causes.

So my other question added to the first was is this not the same as if McGraw was saying he is not for socialized economic equality but thinks minimum wage should be $20.00. On one end you say no I’m not for socialism but I think we need to make everyone’s pay more equal.

Both questions are hot beds right now, gun control is always a hot topic with leftist and conservatives and my opinion is it’s based on freedom. The second amendment says we have a right to carry, no control we have a right to bear arms. Leftist say they want choice but won’t give us real choice unless it fits their needs.

Minimum wage is for entry level jobs, the idea of setting a minimum for wage is not freedom its regulation and bondage. Should not I determine what my value is and if I hire somebody should not that somebody have their right to determine their value as well?

minimum-wage

The idea of increasing minimum wage based on the fact that one cannot make a living on it is not a smart idea at all. Most entry level jobs pay less and are mainly consumed by high school and some collage they were never meant for a person to make a living on that job but just to makes small ends meet or as they say pocket change or spending money.

We see more and more retirees working in fast food and retail stores but that is mainly to supplement their retirement since commodities that need to be purchased to live from day to day are becoming over priced based on what. Based on high pay for low skilled work, it’s hypocritical for the folks that want to raise minimum wage based on “you can’t live on it” and then expect to increased taxes on people that they feel make too much money.

We are not equal people we are valued differently some are better than others otherwise we all would be wearing Super Bowl rings like Joe Montana.

If the current minimum wage is not enough then what is the magic number? Why not raise it to $50.00 an hour or maybe $60K a year, is that enough or do we need more. Why not 100K a year for everyone, no more no less; now what kind of country do think we would be living in then?

ILLOGICAL AND ABSURD MONDAY #3

ILLOGICAL AND ABSURD MONDAY JANUARY 19TH

It’s Monday again and time for some more Illogical and absurd articles from main stream media. Somewhat of a slow news week so the progressives kind of pushed the throttle down on a few of these articles rehashing some old ideas that they would love us to pay for or make illegal.

First up from the Huffington Post “Charlie Hebdo Editor Slams News Organizations for Not Publishing their Cartoons” Now the gist here is editor Gerard Biard feels that if the main stream media really is free speech they should have reported and showed their cartoons in Charlie Hebdo in a solidarity move to show the free world is not afraid of terrorism.

charlie-hebdo-frontpage

Ok let’s understand who the main stream media is, they make up of cowards that shout from a glass door. Main stream media has no problem standing up for freedom of speech and expression when they know it won’t get them killed. They are not afraid of Christians or Buddhist because they know Christians won’t retaliate but with Islam they are afraid.

Biard states every time they draw a cartoon of Mohammad or God they defend freedom of speech and I say no you don’t. Every time you draw a cartoon blaspheming God or any other religious symbol you are doing just that blaspheming a symbol that somebody holds important.

If you have no believes in anything then it makes it easy for you to make the statement your defending freedom of speech but look at it this way. If I were to tell unflattering embellishments about you or your family you might get offended you might even try and sue me.

Charlie Hebdo is a vulgar magazine at times, I’m not going to storm the doors and shoot your entire cartoonist but you insult my faith at times and I see nothing but insults not freedom in what you do.

Next article from Time “Pope Francis Opposes Contraceptives During Address of Millions in Philippines” I’m mainly mention this article by Time on the basis of I’m following the Pope due to his embracing of climate change and environmentalism which is nothing short than communism and communism embraces population control.

Pope Francis waves from the popemobile after leading a Mass at Rizal Park in Manila

Progressives and leftist love it when Pope Francis preaches about climate change and compromising on evolution but they hate it when people preach about birth control something very important to the Catholic faith.

This is where progressives despise Catholics and Christians for even thinking people take reproductive responsibility. Time keeps it tame but doe quote one person here to dig at the Popes stand on birth control.

They quote Jun Chura a former street child “Many terrible things happened to (street children) like drugs and prostitution,” said a former street child named Jun Chura. “Why is God allowing such things to happen? And why are there only very few people helping us?”

My response to Chura is I might ask you the same question, why are you allowing this to happen. You see the Pope and the Catholic/Christian church do not want to punish people by taking away their contraceptive tools they want you to take responsibility and follow God’s will.

Even if you can financially afford ten children does not mean you have ten children, can you emotionally afford ten children. Psalms 127-128, God blesses one that has children but he does require us to walk with him to be successful. Basically this, if you’re not willing to fear and walk with God then you just might limit your success.

The blog from Slate “French Government: Protesters Don’t Understand Our Values (But We’ll Imprison People for Speech)” is kind of interesting on the account that not only do Muslims and Islam do not get French values but nor does Slate and nor do they get values and freedom.

 protest

France has some interesting laws that are very free when it comes to speech but very strict when speech and expression becomes treason. France allows freedom of speech to a degree but when it become treasonous it can levy a stiff penalty in jail time something America seems not to practice thus is why Slate probably just does not get it.

The issue is Islam has no clue what true freedom is, both the Islamist practicing countries have little or no freedom and the religion its self has no freedom either.

Most progressive’s lack the understanding of freedom and values as well, feeling a government entitled society is freedom they just do not get free will and rugged individualism and their value system has no value.

The French are trying to play sides, embracing European socialism and still trying to stay as a free state can be quite complicated and will yield a very unfair society.

US NEWS and World Reports “U.S. Stands Alone on Lack of Paid Leave” published this blog on how the U.S. just won’t increase its taxes on the American People and pay for mothers to stay home with their children.

paid

At this point pretty much if you’re a mother or father you have to option to stay at home for a few months of bonding time without pay.

Those of you that can afford it do so, some have special insurance that pay the whole time and some don’t so they have to come back to work early seems unfair.

Should not a mom and a dad bond with their new born child why are the American people not willing to be taxed enough so all moms and dads at least the moms be paid to stay home?

You have to put yourself in the eyes of the employer; I know that evil corporation you work for that just makes tons of money off your sweat. It’s very hard on a company to have to replace somebody for a short time then give that position back.

The concept of free trade and independence is lost if a private business cannot do anything without the federal or state permission.

There is a compromise that our government could make but wont. If staying home and bonding with your child is so important and I believe it is as far as the mother is concerned then why not lower taxes.

Lower income tax maybe end the income tax as we know it, lower gas tax, lower property tax make it so a two parent family can afford for only one to work.

I know that does not work for everyone since everyone makes different pay something progressives would love to change but that’s called communism.

For the most part it would work if we lowered taxes so families could take home more money and have one parent stay home nurturing the children I know it worked for our family.

It’s easy for progressives to cry on this issue saying it’s not fair but their hypocrisy is huge on family values.

They want taxes to increase so both parents have to work, use that tax money so both can stay at home for a short while and bond then send that child to government daycare and public school.

It just seems smarter to lower taxes and have the parent stay home and bond and develop their child instead of having the tax payer do it.

Solon atheist goes all out in “Bill Maher is right about religion: The Orwellian ridiculousness of Jesus, and the truth about moral progress” This is a very long and tedious blog that hates all over Christianity again fear of Islam goes into play and a double standard is used but the writer Michael Shermer does attack the Jews and Mormons as well but I’m sure in his mind anyone that uses the Bible or Biblical ideas is bad.

2 Seat Interview: Bill Maher and Ralph Nader, Author, Unstoppable Panel left to right: Andrew Ross Sorkin - Financial Columnist, New York Times, Co - Anchor, CNBC’s “Squawk Box” ; Doug Heye - Fmr. Comm. Director, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Fmr

Basically Bill Maher is never really quoted but for those of you that don’t know Maher has said that God is a serial killer in the Old Testament.

Both Maher and Shermer don’t back any historical data up but take Biblical text out of order it’s mainly Shermer’s lack of understanding of Old Testament Biblical history of Israel and the tribes and societies that surrounded the Jews.

When you deal with atheists that bring this kind of hate to the table it’s like talking to a brick wall. They use this double standard to hate on Biblical belief and Christianity because they are afraid of Islam.

Christians are an easy target because true Christians practice peace through Christ something Maher and Shermer conveniently don’t read in the New Testament or even mention in their rants.

The truth is Maher and Shermer hate Jews and Christians because we try and live Gods truth, no we are not perfect we make mistakes but God forgives us something that Shermer I would bet hates to admit.

In Shermer’s eyes Christians live this smug holier than thou hypocritical life and they can’t stand that. If he really knew the truth and that is I don’t always live a holy life and yes I’m a hypocrite at times but every day I ask for forgiveness and every day God forgives me

“Meet the Right-Wing Judge Who Just Screwed over the People Taking Care of Your Grandma” From Alternet the same magazine that is willing to expose this judge but wont print Charlie Hebdo. This story is not about a judge but about a union that wants its workers paid more simple as that.

Nursing-home-photo

This story is near to me because I work in health care and at one time I worked in nursing/convalescent homes. I can say to you without a doubt the people that work in these nursing homes do not get paid much but the work is not that technical.

Whether you agree with this judge’s decision or not I will say this, if you really are concern for your loved ones you need to pay for their care because government insurance and that is who is paying for the majority of these people does not pay well meaning the nursing homes don’t get reimbursed well from social security or Medicare.

If you want the best care for your loved ones you’re going to have to pay out of pocket. I know that seems odd all those years of paying in to social security and it does not take care of your parents well welcome to the real world FDR was wrong and your loved ones fell for it.

Finally from Common Dreams “Supreme Court Could Settle Marriage Equality Fight Once and For All” Yes a few people that are not elected and have a job for life will decide on the not marriage equality but decide on the dismantling of God’s union between a man and a woman.

This is why voting is important; all these judges were appointed by a president and allowed in by our representatives that we voted for.

do_not_deny

When it comes to the defense in marriage I use Matthew 19: 4-6 and I refer you to 1 Corinthians 7: 1-16.

The best hope at this time is for the Supreme Court to make this a states rights issue something Jeb Bush used to get out of stating whether he is either for or against the homosexual movement.

The big question then will be if a gay marriage that is legal in California will it still be good in say like Oklahoma. Hugh Hewitt made a good statement on his radio show a few days ago stating that you may have a legal conceal carry permit in Texas but that permit is not valid in New York.

No matter what happens the fall and decline of the defense of marriage is here but it’s not the end. Abortion is legal but we still fight and pray for that issue daily and this issue is no different.

2015 THE YEAR OF PRAYER

prayer

2015 THE YEAR OF PRAYER

As 2014 years ends I look to 2015 and what will we expect in the coming year. 2014 has been a really crazy and violent year not in just the terms of physical but mental and spiritual as well.

More racial division has been raised this year than in some time, God’s morality has been put to the test this year as we saw people that claimed to follow his moral authority turn their back on him out of confusion.

2014 become violent with radical Islam and ISIS, fellow Americans debated and condoned ISIS behavior how far will we go before we don’t know what is right or wrong.

Riots in the street condoning law breakers and demanding those who protect the peace be punished how long will we go and allow people to blind Americans from truth.

2015 might even be rockier for Christian Americans not to mention Americans in general so I’m asking that you the individual pray each day for the next year. If you do nothing else in 2015 please pray for America, please pray for people to know and understand God’s salvation and will except his gift to all people.

Some people will rise and fight come 2015 and fight for the truth, they will fight for God’s moral and natural law. Some will rise and go unto all the world and attempt to make disciples of all men and women and some will do their best to expose the great lies Satan is trying to spread throughout the world.

Please pray for these people and don’t feel you are not doing anything or feel little. Little is much if God is in it, your prayers are more important than the actions of the few because without those prayers those actions could not act.

Finally I would like to mention some great organizations you can support with confidence that your prayers and money is going to a good place. The Billy Graham Association where your money will go to helping the Gospel is spread throughout the world.

Samaritans Purse, started by Franklin Graham this organization is feeding and helping the sick all around the world and finally if you want to keep your money close to home try the Salvation Army they have done more for Americans that any organization.

Please be with me and pray, whether it is before you go to bed, in the morning or during lunch please take 1 minute out of your day and pray for God’s hand on America and his hand on the world.

AMERICA IS NOT THE GREATEST BUT COMPARED TO WHAT?

AMERICA IS NOT THE GREATEST COUNTY BUT COMPARED TO WHAT?

image

I think a lot of people have seen this clip from the HBO TV series “Newsroom”, when it came out it hit social media like a wildfire I must of saw it posted on Facebook at least 5 times each time getting a seal of approval from the average American. The thought was finally somebody in the media has made a stink on how our country has fallen, we are not the greatest country in the world but I ask compared to what are we not the greatest.

I personally think America fell from grace in 1973 when the Supreme Court legalized the killing of unborn children and all the states in the Union just sat back and allowed it.

The most defenseless of them all and now it’s open season to do what you want. But not everyone has turned their back on the unborn so I won’t speak in the terms of we because many of us don’t condone and do our best to refute this law.

Now with that said I then ask in compared to what is America not so great. Mind you for all those of you that think this was just a wonderful rant on the truth of where this country has gone remember this. HBO Time Warner is a very liberal progressive company that is very anti family, anti conservative and anti Christian. Remember HBO is the media outlet that gives Bill Maher his speaking platform to spread all his hateful lies so are you still glad HBO gave you a small little piece of happiness with this rant from the “Newsroom”.

Now mind you I’m not tearing into Jeff Denials he’s just an actor this is all Time Warner and Aaron Sorkin are the ones trying to fool people into thinking they know and understand Americans, well they don’t.

Denials character “Will” rants that freedom is enjoyed by lots of countries and yes in nature the concept of freedom is enjoyed but have you ever been to those counties. Most have a tax system that would blow your mind; the average tax rate in those countries is 60% while Americans enjoy an average 18%. Tax rate but I guess if you’re a progressive everyone is just a selfish to want to keep your own money.

“Will” goes on to spout about the high mortality rate of children in America. The infant mortality rate in the rant is backwards, yes we are 173 but that’s the number from worst to best worst being number 1 in which Afghanistan is the leader.

Also doctors in other countries look at premature birth deaths as medical waist, child death is not counted but overlooked because if a child is dies at birth or not in full term it does not count not so in America we count every statistic.

Next we get the whine about what America use to be and what it stood for, well in the 1950’s America was recovering from a depression and a world war. In the 50’s Americans finally got to reach what was known as the American dream of owning their own home about 50% owned a home.

In the 1960’s America began the journey to explore space and put a man on the moon. In the process it put a strain on communist relations and started the economic destruction of the Soviet Union.

moon land

In the 70’s America lost its battle to being the country of right when the Supreme Court allowed abortion but this did not mean the People that lived in America has lost grace completely this now meant we knew where to draw a battle line.

In the 1980’s we put the noose on the Soviet Union and by the 1990’s a defeated evil empire. In the 90’s we developed a mass communication for the world with the internet and in the millennium America was punched in the gut September 11 2001 but we rebounded and helped protect not only our country but those of the free world from terrorism and radical Islam.

Yes right now we are going through a rough patch but this is where Sorkin and HBO lack the intelligence of understanding the American. Denials character “Will” references to America by what is seen by mass media and not what is done by the individual.

“Will” rambles on saying “we built great things”, ever heard of the freedom towers, the internet is faster and more powerful than when it was invented, the Iphone has more power than lunar space capsules did in the 1960’s. We found a cure for Ebola when we needed it the most. Groups like Samaritan’s Purse are feeding the hungry and caring for the sick worldwide and its individuals that help Groups like Samaritan Purse to succeed.

You see HBO and Sorkin has “Will” only seeing the country and not seeing the content of the country. They don’t see the individual and the daily sacrifices he and she go through. They don’t see the charity and triumphs the individual makes in his and hers life they only see what is reported and have no concept of what the American is and does.

No America is not the greatest nation it once was but I ask you what are the greatest nations, the 180 that have freedom, China, Cuba are they the greatest. What country does not strive to be like America and what country is beating people down at their borders, Spain, Holland what country Aaron Sorkin and HBO?

WATERED DOWN UNITY

WATERED DOWN UNITY

water faith

I was listening to the Glen Beck show a few nights ago and Glen was talking about when he had called an evangelical pastor to interview for his TV show The Blaze. Now mind you I am a fan of Mr. Beck, I think he falls in the top 3 to 4 for best political conservative commentator out there and one of the smartest conservative political minds right now.

With that said Beck knows nothing about religion and further more his combined social religious understanding is more like an impulsive person having his attention dragged from one idea to another.

Mr. Beck went on to say he called the pastor to talk about becoming a guest on the TV show and the pastor wanted to make it known that he and Mr. Becks religious views are different and he wanted to make that clear in the interview.

Beck said that made him feel ill and continued to tell us the audience of the radio program that “all I wanted to say to that pastor was “are you that small to have to say that”. Why can’t we be united in love” I’m paraphrasing the united part  because I listened to it December 10th and I am not a member of the Blaze radio so I have no audio to get the exact quote.

What Beck fails to realize is Christians that believe in The God of the Bible cannot compromise in their faith, not for a TV show not for anything we are different.

Now don’t believe for one minute that I think Mr. Beck was chastising this pastor or don’t believe I think Mr. Beck was being a lovey dovy hippie with his remarks. What Mr. Beck feels and thinks is that conservatives that have common ground need to unite and that I agree.

What Mr. Beck does not understand is that Christianity has one way John 3:16 and we cannot change or differ in that way. Yes we do have common ground with many groups and religions but our faith and the way salvation is obtained is only one way.

Now you might be thinking what evangelical pastor was Glen Beck talking about and to be honest I do not know. I do have speculations since there was only one well known evangelical pastor that the Blaze interviewed in November but again it’s only speculation on my part.

With that said in November Evangelical pastor Ravi Zacharias was interviewed on the Blaze. Before the interview Zacharias did have ” statement “or more of a pray request before he went on The Blaze.

After the interview Beck stated “Yes we do have differences but Ravi and I agree that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world”.

I disagree, Jesus came to save us and give us the individual salvation not the world. Jesus said he would turn families against each other for believing in him something people just don’t always understanding especially living in America. Matthew chapter 10 versed 32-42

There has been a push by Pope Francis to unite other religions to help stop the poor and feed the hungry and again we cannot compromise on our faith. Mark 14:7 Jesus is trying to make a point for the disciples to take advantage of Jesus being with them here and now but his statement is just more than that it is the truth we will always have the poor, sick and hungry this will never change and to compromise on our faith and water it down to unite with other religions is a big mistake Revelation 3:16.

Common ground is important, if we want to define our way of life here in America all of us have to know and understand our common ground.

I cannot expect the LDS to water down their faith and compromise nor the Muslim and do not expect me the Christian to do the same. We have common ground to be free and to worship God but Christians cannot compromise on the word of God and Jesus and we cannot compromise our way to salvation.

Real Christianity vs. Whatever The Heck It Is Conservatives Actually Follow

The above blog popped up on one of the blogging forums I use on Facebook, it was posted by Christian Surf and written by Allen Clifton who I’m kind of thinking is not a Christian as defined by most born again Christians would define but I can’t judge his heart only God can

It’s a pretty negative blog attacking Conservative Christians mainly Conservatives in general, I read through it and thought I would rebuttal as a conservative Christians since he’s calling me out I’ll answer his call.

The first thing is he labels all conservatives republicans and defines them as being in a cult but that simply is not true. Conservatives just can’t vote for democrats, the Democratic Party is way too progressive right now and is just too much like communism to me.

Believe me not all conservatives are republicans it’s just that’s all we can vote for, no conservative is thrilled with theses deadbeat rinos that come up for election but we either vote for them and try and change policy with a moderate republican or don’t vote and deal with deadbeat democrats and their socialism you can’t win either way.

Some conservatives will refuse to vote for moderate republicans no matter what is on the line they have too much conviction to compromise with socialism.

The next issue was abortion, as a Christian Mr. Clifton is against abortion and thinks it’s wrong and that’s really good to hear, it kind of leaves a emptiness in your soul when you meet a person that states they are a believer but thinks killing an unborn child is fine.

Clifton feels if somebody wants or has an abortion well that’s none of his business and frankly it’s nobody else’s business.

This is where I disagree and think why most level headed Christians have the view of “we cannot condone a society that kills its unborn”.

It should be all our concerns that we have legalized the murder of unborn children; it’s too convenient to just dismiss something that is wrong just because you’re told it’s none of your business.

My question to the Christian that views abortion is nobody’s business but the person having it is how do justify this if you know it’s wrong.

Would you stand by and knowingly let a person be murdered, would you be more concerned if your state government decided to legalize the killing of adults that stayed on government assistance for more than say 8 years and now is a burden on society.

What makes the abortion ok because it’s none of your business, because the child is not yet born, it can’t communicate or do complex rational thought so it’s not really a living person.

When does it not be okay, when the unborn child is 2 month in the womb, 3 months, 5, 8 when is it not okay to kill the unborn.

Guns, Mr. Clifton does not like people with guns well I own a few guns and I own them for protection. If somebody is breaking into my house I have an obligation to protect my family and I guarantee the police will not get to my house before the bad guy has done his bad deed.

Christians also believe in the 2nd amendment and the constitution that gives them freedom to bear arms.

The reason why our founding father constructed the 2nd amendment was not to just protect from home invasion of some random thug but to give the American citizen the ability to protect themselves from tyrannical power of a government and from the average thug that would threaten your personal property.

No Christian wants to use a gun but its there if we need it because some brilliant men thought it should be your right to protect yourself.

The next is Homosexuality, yes I’m opposed to the gay lifestyle on a few levels one being it’s against what the Bible teaches us as a matter of fact the inspired word of God (the Bible) discusses this at least twice first being Leviticus 18:22 and again the New Testament in Romans 1: 26-27. Mind you this verse is not condoning the act of homosexuality.

I don’t think God is just picking on the homosexual there is more here than just two of the same sexes trying to act like a heterosexual couples. Homosexuality if practiced is unsafe, unhealthy and brings risk not to mention it’s has no design to reproduce itself.

As a conservative I oppose homosexuality because the lifestyle is destructive and anti family. Today’s gay life is in your face “you must accept me and my life choices or else you’re a homophobe or a bigot” this is a sexually based sin that has embraced the politically correctness for safety.

It refuses to acknowledge its hurting and is based in a lie, becomes unstable for a society that tries to be the truth right for all that live in it.

I personally have had dealings with homosexuality in my own family and I have first hand seen the destructive behavior it has brought to not only my family but other families that it has involved with.

It’s morally wrong and biblically wrong, God does care when people hurt other people and hurt themselves it does matter to him.

Next is giving to charity and why go into this I’m at a loss, Clifton said he gives the conservative the nod on giving to charity but states why should we since their church tells them to give tithes anyhow.

Not all conservatives are Christian so can’t expect all to tithe to their church. Churches do not command that we tithe to them. I would say if you go to a church that expects you to give tithing then you should leave.

What the inspired word of God does say is this in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7  I believe most healthy Christians practice this in give based on its the right thing to do we do it out of our heart not because a church tells us to.

He goes on and pulls the greed card on conservatives that we all just want to be rich and hoard the money.

Yes we want a free market and yes capitalism is the best way to do business in a free market but you’re talking about capital cronyism not true free market capitalism where the government lets society earn their own money by working hard and helping those that cannot help themselves. The opposite of all this is communism and I’m not for that.

Right now both our state and federal governments punish you for succeeding in life by taxing you. They use those taxes wastefully if anyone should get a lecture on greed and selfishness it’s our government.

Clifton states that different denomination interprets the bible very differently and I do not agree on that. Most Judeo Christian denominations that are healthy in the word of God see God’s word all the same.

They may have different doctrines and put emphases on some biblical practices over the other but most view God’s word the same. What Clifton is talking about is religions and born again Christians don’t belong to a religion they belong to a relationship with God.

Clifton then ask what makes a person a Christian, is it going to church, reading the bible. Clifton believes that being a Christian comes down to who you are as a person and how closely you try and live your life with the beliefs of Jesus Christ and that is a pretty good answer except if the thief on the cross had followed that definition he would have gone to hell.

Salvation is what makes you a Christian, John chapter 3 verse 16 sums up what it takes to be a Christian and belong to Jesus Christ.

It is why an Atheist is not a Christian, it’s why a Muslim is not a Christian and why a ton of people that go through life thinking all I have to be is good and I’ll get to heaven are wrong Matthew chapter 7 verses 21-23

At the end Clifton just bashes conservative Christians for enjoying guns, practicing greed selfishness and hate. My question for Clifton that feels progressives and leftist  are more compassionate…where is the compassion?

END OF THE WEEK DECEMBER 2

END OF THE WEEK, THE LOW DOWN DIRTY SHAME OF IT ALL

my day

End of the week again halfway through December and almost the end of the year. As I type this we here in Nor Cal and Northern Nevada are supposed to be in the mist of what is dubbed the storm of the century and outside my window it’s just cloudy with maybe a promise of more rain to come. Even more reason why I beg people to not put your trust of weather and climate from man it will always bite you, sometimes hard sometimes just a nip but it will always bite you.

In the news Jonathan Gruber the smartest man in MIT that helped build the ACA (Obama Care) and calling the average American stupid faced some payback justice with a hearing on Capitol Hill. What is even more disturbing is that Gruber is now on record as saying that abortion is a “social good” due to the claim that it reduces the number of “marginal children” what is the definition of marginal children well think, the progressive ideology is saying poor people don’t count and they need abortion to keep more poor children from being introduced into our society that cost us and our government more dollars, kind of sad that one would view a life based on reducing its cost instead of life as a miracle and joyous that should be saved and protect at all cost.

Our smartest woman in California Dianne Feinstein put most everyone and all of our foreign dignitaries and military men and women at risk when she released the senate CIA report a few days ago. The report just stated what we all knew with regards to torture being done to capture war criminals in regards to our September 11th 2001 attack in New York City. 911-conspiracyAmerica did what it needed to do, if anything we should have done more. Bush failed us in the fact he did not allow Americans to invest themselves more into the 911 attacks like America did after the Pearl Harbor attack of 1941. I believe because of this a division was allowed to happen and Americans quickly forgot why we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Some 13 years later some view this invasion a mistake and I believe if Bush had made this more of a personal attack on each American and his and hers Freedom we would have a different view and maybe had a less decisive government that seems to attack our freedom for power.

This week I published two blogs first one entitled I BLAME YOU MR. FARRAKHAN, MR. SHARPTON AND MR. JACKSON; I blame the deaths of Travon Martin, Eric Garner and Michael Brown on the lack of leadership that Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have brought to the American Black community. Second blog WE WOULD MISS YOU is based off a post that a FB friends posted. Something that is real in the hearts of certain people but is rarely looked at from their point of view and I felt it needed to be said so those who suffer with anxiety, depression, and loneliness would know there are people out there that do care.

Movie to see this Christmas month is a good one called “It happened on 5th Avenue” The Christmas movies should start churning out about now and this is a good one. Very much like “It’s a wonderful life” as a matter of fact Frank Capra was offered the movie and turned it down. It starts off a bit slow but stick with it because the middle half to the end it really gets going and although it’s a bit 1947 corny at times it drives home some real good points about love, greed and the pursue of freedom.5th

Not a bad week this week gave me and I hope you were dealt the same. I’ll be heading into the new week working a bit then off to deliver some gifts to the family and hopefully enjoying the movie Gods and Kings. I know it will be Biblically unsound but with Bale as Moses it should be at least entertaining and that my friend is the lowdown of the week.

NO RESPECT FOR GOD AND COUNTRY

NO RESPECT FOR GOD AND COUNTRY BURNED FERGUSON DOWN

So the elephant in the room is Ferguson, what happened and why. Regardless of if you believe whether the grand jury made a good or bad decision matters not what followed was not deserved by the good people that had to deal with malice destruction of their property.

I dealt with this 22 years ago with the Rodney King incident, then it was the white man’s fault for keeping the black man down and the Korean man’s fault for taking all the jobs away regardless the reason it was wrong morally and ethically regardless if you thought the police were justified or not the people of South Central Los Angeles did not deserve the malice of destruction of their property.

I believe the reason why Ferguson went up in a blaze was a concept learned by the people and taught by the state and federal government and that is you do not need to respect God or your country, you have us the government to rely on. Now mind you the government is made up of people so the lessons taught are on those people that have done nothing by instill the thought that government is first and God and country takes a back seat in the home of the American.

The lack of respect of God and Country by people ends up being a destruction of people’s faith, property and country three things Americans use to hold very near and dear to their heart and minds even so much as to go to war over it.

The leaders of our government no longer condone and promote God as the center piece of respect and responsibility. Our government no longer promotes our country as a place of virtue and respectability instead government tries to convince people that government is our god and government runs our country. How do we expect people that rely on government to behave in such a way that they don’t respect moral authority and live in a place that was bought and paid for by the blood of their ancestors?

Leaders that teach people that when an outcome does not go your way you should destroy things are leaders that disrespect their country and lack morality and ethics. The step father of Mike Brown was shouting “burn this bitch down” what respect does a man like this have for God and his country.

Another sad day in America when our leaders and  religious leaders instead of trying to calm down people only incite them. These are supposed to be men of God, they are supposed to respect God but they disrespect both God and their county.

When we respect God we respect the rule of law and people’s needs when we respect our country we respect other people’s property and we allow the rule of law to run its course.
