CLIMATE CHANGE HAS LITTLE ROOM FOR ATHEIST

16

We might think atheism and secularism as a minor force with strong arms today trying to end Christianity as we know it.

Atheist claim they don’t believe in any religion but for reasons that can be debated they seem to pay particular attention to Christianity trying to discredit it, they’re more anti theist than just people that claim not to believe in a God or the supernatural and leave it at that.

It is my thoughts that liberalism cannot at this point in time allow atheism to totally destroy the idea of God from our heart, our minds yes but the idea of a God must be allowed to live in the heart of man. Romans 12:2

The reason being is atheism for the most part is a leftist point of view. Yes there maybe some conservative atheist out there but they would be more economically conservative rather than socially conservative and those people that identify themselves as atheist rarely identify with the same moral ideology as people that do believe in God or Christianity. Note both can but most of the time there is normally a difference of opinion on a moral law code.

Conservatives and Christian conservatives in general think similar and believe similar. They tend to share values much the same and the embrace moral and ethical values much the same.

The leftist agenda is contrary to the conservative agenda particularly in climate change and global warming. This idea is not universally anti Christian as we see a few Christians take up the leftist cause of radical environmentalism.

Most Christians that subscribe to radical environmentalism can be defined as liberal leaning and therefore are sometimes dismissed as legitimate  believers in true Christianity but make no mistake those Christians that do endorse radical environmentalism such as Pope Francis have a wide following in the leftist community.

This is where I have wrote before it’s a fine line for leaders like Sir Francis to court radical environmentalism but being that said it is also a fine line for leftist to court Christians that embrace this idea as well. 1 John 2:15

By no means is Pope Francis an advocate of abortion something leftist embrace with open arms as a rite of passage. For leftist  hope to convince as many people as possible to believe in radical man made climate change they need all the help they can. If they cannot legislate it down our throats then having the aid of top Christians leaders to preach radical climate change in the pulpit is a plus which is why they cannot fully condone the actions of radical atheism that is anti theist.

To the atheist that believe in no God, believes in random chance, believes in subjective morality they in principle should not care one way or another if man made climate change is real or just junk science..

In the words of Jeff Durbin pastor of Apologia church in Tempe Arizona “So what”, so what if it’s man made or not it does not stop the random chance of happening.

So what if the polar bears run out of ice, survival of the fittest regardless if man made carbon from cars that melt ice or if three super volcanos erupt and ash covers the earth and kills one quarter of the earth species, it happens. In reality what happens is so what; if naturalism is real then life will go on, government regulations won’t change that.

Leftist who rely on radical environmentalism for power cannot have this, they need people to be behind them and to believe in the cause and while many atheist won’t buy this idea of a “so what” reality they should in order to be true to their beliefs.

Liberal leftist may just need the belief in God to continue and having the aid of Christians that believe God puts man in total control of his creation is a win. They need leaders like Rev Mitchell C Hescox that have doubt in what God can do to infiltrate the minds and emotions of their followers and a total disbelief in God cannot be on the agenda at this time.

While both atheist and like minded liberals would love to see the end of a Biblical moral law the goal might be to rid God from people’s minds but keep the notion of a God that is good, environmentally gentle and emotionally illogical in our hearts.

MONDAY THOUGHTS 1

monday1

Greetings this Monday; some of us decompressing over the weekend depending on what we did. I guess the big news of the week going through the weekend has been the visit of Pope Francis. He has gone home now but as Monday arises I can see a division of both Catholics and Protestants, liberals and conservatives over Sir Francis’s visit to my country.

I can only offer my opinion as to why this is, why one man can divide when such a visit should be unity. First to my Catholic friends there is no disrespect to the Catholic doctrine on my part I’m only giving my assessment of Francis’s visit. I know Catholics will say they are not the cause of such division and I also know Pope Francis has an agenda and I’m sure has no plans to change that agenda.

The reason why there is and maybe continue to be a division is simply Pope Francis is a socialist and he brought his Marxist ideas with him. If you don’t think Sir Francis is a socialist you need to lift your head out of the sand.

I personally felt if you get a chance to speak in front of Congressmen and Senators and you are a professed man of God you need to preach the Gospel not preach your political agenda. Open the speech up with prayer for one; condemn abortion and the funding of groups that would sell murdered body parts it’s not enough to just say all life is precious when Planned Parenthood is buying  Lamborghini’s off the organs of our unborn children.

A statement was made that Pope Francis’s visit to America was a slap in conservative’s faces and I have to agree with that, it’s also a big letdown of one person not preaching the Gospel.

I know Catholics by in large love this man so do liberals and that alone sets off red flags in my direction. What is most disheartening to me was a few comments I made on twitter this week and the comments it received by what I considered as good conservative men of God that happened to be Catholic. It broke my heart to hear such comments I will not go into details and who left the comments but if you know what the word idolatry means there is a big concern here for me and for Christians that praise one man might need to do a personal heart to God’s heart check on themselves.

The other big news item of course is Donald Trump, a few of my aunts and uncles have been out my way for a visit this week asked me what I thought of Mr. Trump and my statement was “I wish he would leave and let people like Cruz and Jindal takeover”

If you think Trump is the GOP saving grace you could be right but I don’t think he is. Like Jeb Bush said on Fox News (no I’m not a Bush fan) check back with me in two months and see where we are, Responding to Trumps popularity.

I agree with Jeb I really don’t think Trump can debate well. I mean watch him in a debate, he calls people names, says I can do better than you, almost childlike responses.

Is Trump better than any democrat well yeah that’s a no brainer. It’s also a testament to a candidate that gets into it with Trump like what Rubio has been doing, shows me Rubio needs to drop out he is way too inexperienced to be running a campaign as is Trump. As a Christian Trump is all over the place, I like how he has pandered to the Christian GOP group but I’m not sold on if he really knows who Jesus is.

Boehner resigns yippy it about time don’t let actually let the door hit you as you leave you have been an embarrassment to the GOP and have done nothing to further the advancement of America. When fools like Harry Reid say it’s a loss for Boehner to leave that is when you know it’s time for fools like Boehner to leave, McConnell needs to follow right behind him.

These are my thoughts this Monday feel free to add your own and enjoy the week.

NOT KNOWING THE OLD KEEPS US FROM UNDERSTANDING THE NEW

pro-life-holly-fisher-gun-bible-us-flag

Not knowing the old will keep us from knowing the present and surly lead our future to fail. Both the Old Testament and the Bill of Right particularly the 2nd Amendment have a bunch in common and can teach us a lot about mankind history, God and country.

The right to keep and bear arms is important right that most Americans take very seriously.

For the most part people that are for and against this right with little in the middle. With those that are against feeling this right the right to keep and bear arms is much like the Bibles Old Testament.

It’s old and does not apply today, it was relevant then but not now society has evolved better and most of all its very violent.

Much like the Old Testament, the 2nd amendment is just as relevant then and now. It holds a very import piece of history in our society and way of life.

To disregard both text would be to change everything, America would be different not better without the 2nd amendment and Christianity would be obsolete and a fraud without the Old Testament.

Statements like Pope Francis It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit of distrust, doesn’t it? become hypocritical in nature since his own money from the Vatican buys guns and weapons to protect him.

Pope Francis is not the only well known face that has made this kind of hypocrisy our federal and state leaders elect do the same.

President Obama and my own state Senator from California Diane Feinstein both have spoken out against private citizens protecting themselves again hypocrisy.

Don’t get me wrong I believe I get what the Pope is saying in a Biblical text way but that way cannot be, it can never be since the day man fell in the garden of Eden.

Although the comment is Marxist in nature and meaning it shows little understanding of historical and spiritual importance of the Old Testament to the nature of man in which led up to the 2nd Amendment to be made.

I will be fare and add that Pope Francis most likely made this a general accusation and not towards one country or one human nature unlike President Obama and Senator Feistein.

The Old Testament and the 2nd amendment both tell a tale of disobedience of man and we can use both to help with the protection of our lives and our societies we live in.

In the Old Testament we are given countless times of disobedience to God by men and by God’s chosen people the Jews. Since the day Adam and Eve fell from grace man has been evil in nature and because of that man has had to arm himself for protection.

No matter if you live in a country like American or a communist country such as North Korea you will always have a moral right to defend yourself from bodily harm. The difference is does the country you live in support your right.

The American framers understood this right, it spurred from many different aspects but they knew this was a right that every citizen needed to be free in this new society.

The American framers saw firsthand what it was like to live in oppressive society and what happened when you disobeyed that form of government.

The Old Testament showed everyone what it was like to live under an oppressive society with God’s chosen people the Jews; the Old Testament also showed everyone what happens when you disobey God.

Understanding the relevance of the Old Testament is crucial to understanding the New Testament just as understanding why the American framers felt so passionate for the right to keep and bear arms be a freedom for every person living in the new world.

For those saying the Old Testament is outdated and not relevant to the new covenant (New Testament, grace and salvation) is truly showing ignorance.

Understand this, Old Testament during the days of Jesus and after his ascending to heaven was a collection of writings put together called the Septuagint in plane it was the Bible of the Jews.

Both Jesus and the saints used this Bible, they wrote the letters of what today we now call the New Testament. If the Old Testament was irrelevant then why would Jesus and the saints use it or quote from it.

For those saying the 2nd amendment is old fashion and relevant only to the war of independence then why was the right to keep and bear arms added to the Bill of Rights after the war of independence?

Without the 2nd amendment how do we think the war of 1812 would have turned out 21 years after the war of independence and 49 years before the civil war; at what time in history did the second amendment become void and who made this call?

To make comments “people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit of distrust, doesn’t it?” is either ignorance to God and history or arrogance to the common man.

One can make the point that Noah is just as guilty for the manufacture of weapons as anyone else.

If Noah had just ignored God and not build the Ark maybe God would have destroyed all mankind and started from scratch with a new and improved man and woman that would be more like a fun loving drone or robot to obey God’s every command.

Should Noah be left out of heaven because he built an ark and saved mankind only to have himself sin and mankind disobey God again and again? That leads to a bit of distrust, doesn’t it?

Why continue with the current model of man, why not scrap that model or heck not make man at all just pretty flowers, birds and maybe some bees.

These argument will rage on I know so I say again know your history both Biblical and what the framers of this country intentions were.

Without knowing the Old Testament we really can’t understand why things happen the way they do. Why God allowed what he did and what his purpose was for and what our purpose is for.

Not knowing and understanding the founding fathers and framers of this country’s purpose of designing the Bill of Rights is pure malicious ignorance on ones self. Without trying to know and understand is to not really love both God and country.

THE LEFT AND POPE FRANCIS’S CONUNDRUM

pope francis

The national Review released a nice article more or less better defining Pope Francis’s stance on climate change and economical equality leaving the Leftist environmental, economic extremist and the Pope in somewhat of a conundrum if you ask me.

Pope Frances further defines his belief in what it means to embrace climate change and economic justice in which one comes to the conclusion that Pope Francis feels they are connect, it’s a good size article that needs to be read so I urge you to do so.  The Pope’s Encyclical, at Heart, Is About Us, Not Trees and Snail Darters

Pope Francis over the last few years had made statements that have been surly noted as communist in notion, climate change is the new communism if you don’t feel that way look at the old communism or in that fact both China, North Korea and Vietnam and see the defining attributes they have in common with climate change. Note that climate change is nothing new to the Left, when the Berlin wall fell western communism just found a new place to hide.

Economic Equality has been a topic as well by Francis, from the National Catholic Reporter Carol Glatz reports that the Popes idea of faith and giving go hand in hand something we would all like to see people like Joel Osteen and TD Jakes read and practice.

The issue with this concept is it does not fully understand or fix the poor just that we need to become poor to have faith. I’m always quick to go back on Matthew chapter 26 verse 11.

Now Jesus was explaining more than just the poor to his disciples but it does tells us an undeniable truth, that we will never rid the poor nor the sick they will always be with us. No giving until it hurts will change that, we are not to hoard our money but I don’t think Jesus expects us to go broke trying to fix something that cannot be fixed.

This lays the conundrum for both the Pope and the Left; how fare will they take each other before they are forced to abandon each another on difference of ideology and yes their ideology splits.

Now mind you this is just opinion and conviction from Pope Francis, whether he sees it or not he is embracing communism with his economic and environmental ideology. In my opinion the Pope does see it but wants to change the concept of socialism to his brand or what I would say the true brand of socialism.

Socialism was tried once and it failed when Adam and Eve sinned and God threw them out of the garden. After that socialism has tried and tried as it might, it has even employed the government aka communism and that still has not worked and will never work because of mans inherent will to sin.

I get what Pope Francis is wanting, he and I would make great neighbors but no way in heaven would I vote for him to office.

The conundrum that Pope Francis faces is that yes the Left is all for this, they love what Francis is preaching until he said that being economically equal and environmentally conscious means we must be Pro Life and not with just newborns but with everyone one and thing on this earth and that is where the ideology splits

This is a must and the Pope knows this and has to push this otherwise he loses his Christian credibility. Equality means everyone, young and old regardless of how weak or strong, ignorant or inelegant we must have Pro Life otherwise all this is a lie.

The conundrum for the Left is they know this is a lie and they themselves don’t necessarily live this lie. Don’t get me wrong there are a few uneducated leftist hippies out there that attempt it but few will live it to the end. The educated Left truly does not have equality in mind just power and ignorance and Pro Life cannot be a part of this social experiment.

To the Left Pro Life cannot gel with communism because if makes not only the individual but a government accountable for their misgivings. Yes the government could mandate no abortion, it is not an option, make it illegal and it will care for the unwanted child and the elderly but that opens up a can of who will pay for this and again accountability becomes in play, judgment, sin there is no irrelevance in a world that embraces life.

I believe the Pope would say we the people and the churches of the people will take care of these children and take care of the elderly that have served our society something that use to be and has been lost with an ever intrusive government. So one can see if we allow the government to take care or enforce private organizations to do their bidding the society looses freedom and free will.

The Pope’s communism demands that not only people be accountable but the government is as well and that won’t happen because again we are inherently evil and seek the best way out not God’s way in which is always best but is only from a free will based on a freedom he gives us not the government.

Yes while the Popes communism seems like a wonderful utopia where everybody loves everything it is not only impossible but it no longer allows for freedom and free will. A government cannot enforce free will and freedom it can only protect it.

Again socialism in the Garden of Eden would have worked if sin was not committed, there would be no need for communism because people would be responsible themselves and not seek to cause their neighbor to stumble. Government would have never been in need because with no sin people will not seek to kill, steal and destroy.

Pope Francis’s utopia requires communism because he knows the heart of man, and government is needed to police that heart. Where he fails is his understanding mans inherent nature and he forgets the heart of man. He forgets its man that is the government that will police the heart and actions of man; see the problem it just spins leaving a devastation of corruption, payoffs, crony capitalism, and abuse of power.

The conundrum is this, will Pope Francis’s remarks on Pro Life turn off the Leftist that is needed to enact this communism he dreams of. Will the Left leave the Pope because his communism is not their communism?

Regardless of his social and political clout I believe the Left will sneakingly distance themselves from Pope Francis because of this one disagreement being too great to sacrifice their ideology of relativism.

This is a dangerous path for Pope Francis to travel on, time will only tell if the snares of liberalism will be too much for society to handle even Pope Francis.

WHO IS SAINT PATRICK?

patrick_shamrock_0

Do you know why you are celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day March 17th and do you know who St. Patrick is or is this just a day to dress green and party. I for one knew of the man St. Patrick but had no clue about who he was and what he stood for. I never celebrated the day unless I was forced to in school other than that March 17th was just another day hoping nobody would notice I had no green on.

When I got married my wife had an ambition to visit Ireland and in 2014 we were able to make that goal happen and we took a tour on the Emerald Island. The traveler that I am had me investigate were we would be touring and since we would be spending three days in Dublin it was a must to visit St. Patrick’s cathedral. We were able to visit the church that was built around 1191, very a inspiring to say the least but I still did not understand who St. Patrick was.

Inside Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin
Inside Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin

It was not until our Irish tour started that our tour guide started telling the story and then I understood why this man was elevated to Sainthood. Later I started to think and I understood why I would celebrate this man but do people in general really understand why they are celebrating him.

Some history of St. Patrick: Born in 378 AD Maewyn Succat from Roman parents in Roman occupied Brittan. Born of nobility Maewyn changed his name to Patrick after becoming a priest.

At age 15 Patrick was kidnapped by pirates and sold into slavery in Ireland. Patrick was enslaved as a Sheppard for 6 years. Although Patrick was raised in a Christian home his grandfather being a Catholic priest Patrick later said he was not a believer. Prior to being kidnapped he said he was selfish and wanted nothing to do with worshiping God.

During his 6 years of slavery Patrick started to find God, he often practiced fasting to get closer to God. Then Patrick started having dreams of God talking to him. In his 6th year of slavery Patrick said God told him in a dream to escape, at first he thought it was nothing more than a dream but the next night God told him again to escape.

Patrick states he escaped and walked 180 miles to the Irish east coast to find a ship that could take him back home. He states God not only found him a boat but the ship’s captain who for sure had to suspect Patrick was fugitive did not turn him in even though the captain had much to gain to do so.

Even when Patrick’s ship landed in Britain they had to take the cargo in to town by foot. After two days of walking they began to get hungry and scoffed at Patrick saying will not your God find us food. The next day Patrick and the crew ran into wild pigs and food was now available so much so by the time they ran out again they had reach the town.

Patrick was now 21 years of age and instead of staying home where he would have certainly been able to take over the family farm and business decided to go to seminary school to become a pastor.

After becoming a priest Patrick went back to Ireland and started to missionary the same people that bought him into slavery. He converted the pagan druids and Christianized Ireland as we know it.

Now most of us know that St. Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland and folklore has him driving out all the snakes of Ireland but that is no folklore Patrick did drive out the snakes of Ireland.

In Ireland besides birds of prey there are no predators, no wolfs, bears, cats or snakes so what do I mean by Patrick driving out the snakes of Ireland. The pagan druids worshiped many gods and their symbol of their worshiping was of snakes. When Patrick converted the pagans to Christianity he drove out the snakes.

So why do we celebrate and how do we celebrate St. Patrick, understanding what Patrick did its easy for me an American to see why Ireland, Britain and the Catholic church to want and celebrate the achievements of such a great man but if you are not Catholic, Irish, or of the UK why do you celebrate. Is it out of respect for what Patrick did, he forgave the people of Ireland, the pirates that sold him and offered them a chance through God’s grace to receive salvation.

Do you celebrate St. Patrick because it’s a day to drink green beer maybe get drunk and loaded because a lot of other people are doing it.

First understand what St. Patrick was up against when he returned to Ireland to preach the Gospel. Druids were into slavery, human sacrifice, witchcraft, sexuality deviated from the normal and worshipped more than one God pretty much opposite of what St. Patrick and the Gospel stood for. God gave Patrick the ability to learn the language, and then teach and convert the pagans with simple things like teaching the trinity of God by using the three leaf clover.

What I’m getting at is to celebrate a day that remembers a man like Patrick and to celebrate it by doing the opposite of what Saint Patrick stood for is disrespectful.

Today’s St. Patrick day parades are nothing what Patrick could envisioned I suspect. I wonder what Patrick would think of today if he saw some of the parades that are supposed to be honoring his achievements.

st1  st2

I’m not saying one should not celebrate St. Patrick’s Day March 17th  if you are not a believer but maybe one might really take the time to know the man and what he stood for to heart.

Maybe have some respect for a man that forgave his captors and gave them a chance to know who the God of the Bible was and the grace that God gives no matter who and what they did.

If you are going to celebrate a man then know who that man is and what he has done. Please do not disrespect St. Patrick by careless disregard of what he stood for. Take the day to remember the man and what God did through him.

WHAT INFLUENCED YOU?

Stilleven-met-bijbel

ROMANS 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I was Browsing through Facebook and came across this blog on Christian Bloggers about the 10 most influential people and books in Christianity. Not really sure how the list was made or tallied and it must have been people and books of this century but I figured the persons on the list at some time or another influenced or impacted somebody’s life and it got me to think who influenced me.

I decided to make my own list of people and books that have impacted or influenced me in not only my spiritual Christianity but in my everyday life in general.

Minus the first set people and the last book and person the list is in no particular order but more in the way of how they flew out of my brain. At the bottom I leave a list of the most absurd people that deserve not to influence anyone and in my opinion should be avoided.

People and books that have influenced or impacted me the most

My parents: I have to consider myself very blessed to have had mother and father that led me in the right direction to seek out God.

My parents gave me the foundation that established who and what I am today and where I go from here. Without my parents I wouldn’t be here today typing this up now, and probably would have had a very different world, one I would not be proud of. God bless all those parents that have given their children the truth.

Billy Graham: No matter what is being said or done in the last 40 years in Christianity whether it is good bad or controversial you can always count on the words and actions of Billy Graham. He is the gold standard when it comes to evangelical speakers, movers and shakers of the modern Christian world.

Graham’s message is simple “Salvation” in my opinion salvation is the most important part of Christianity. It is what binds us together whether you are Catholic, Baptists or Assembly of God salvation is what we all agree on and that has been Graham’s message from the beginning.

If you never got a chance to see and hear Mr. Graham speak live you really missed out on something special.

Gary North: Few will know this economics professor or even know he wrote the book entitled Unholy Spirits in my opinion the definitive guide to the occult and supernatural studies on a Christian perspective in the modern era of the 1970’s through the 2000’s.

Many Christian books of the occult or Biblical supernatural phenomenon have been written but none attack the subject in the way the reader now becomes responsible for knowing. I feel this is a must read for any seminary student and for anyone interested in intellectual conversation of the occult, liberal ideology and how both can combine and effectively change society.

North has written two books on this subject the first written in the 1970’s “None Dare Call it Witchcraft” and it was revised in the early 1980’s and retitled “Unholy Spirits”. Although the book is historically out of date on events that preceded the 1980’s mainly communism the concept and subject are as relevant today as they were in the 1980’s.

The book changed my view on how the occult and liberal ideology is approached and how I attack the subjects in written and in conversation.

Hollywood Vs. America: Written by Michael Medved known as a film critic later a conservative radio talk show host and also an orthodox Jew. The book Hollywood Vs. America showed me how the liberalization of Hollywood is corrupting America.

When I read this book in the 1990’s it had impacted my ideas and approach on how the media and entertainment in general can and is influencing society and why we as Christians and conservatives are responsible in doing something about it.

Maewyn Succat: Later known as Patrick you and I know him as St. Patrick. Most know little of St. Patrick and yes this man was a Saint and deserves the title.

St. Patrick was born around 375 AD and his life as a pastor and later a Bishop was in the 400 century AD. Most people just know that March 17th is a day to dress in green drink green beer and celebrate something they know nothing of.

St. Patrick at age 15 was kidnapped by Irish pirate and sold into slavery to pagans in Ireland. He was a Sheppard for 6 years before he escaped. In those 6 years St. Patrick who was raised in a Catholic Christian home considered himself more of a non believer but converted during his years as a slave. He credits God freeing him from slavery and protecting him as he escaped back to Britain.

St. Patrick then when to seminary school became a pastor and decided to return to Ireland to missionary to the same people that enslaved him. Folklore has St. Patrick driving out all the snakes from Ireland in which people know there are no snakes in Ireland but St. Patrick did not drive out the reptile snake but the pagan and druids whose symbol was of the snakes that St. Patrick converted to Christianity.

The fact a man could be stolen and placed in to slavery, escape, forgive his captives and go back to convert them is beyond what many would do. If you have never studied St. Patrick I highly recommend you do it might changed your idea of what March 17th should be about.

CRI Christian Research Institute: Not without some controversy both Hank Hanegraaff and the folks of CRI have built a great organization for people to find information on all things Christianity, Occult, religion and current events.

CRI has stood the test of time they are in my opinion are one of the best places to go for Biblical backed information on Christian doctrine, churches, men and women of God, cults and religions. If you can’t find what you are looking for then feel free to call or email they do respond well.

What I like about CRI is yes they can seem to be straight shooters and accused of judging at times but they back everything up scriptural. Most everything is backed by the word of God some information may be debate and opinion but those are mainly things that are always in debate and are not salvation issues but more of questions that can never truly be answered in definition.

The Bible answer man and CRI helped me personally understand religions other than Christianity and helped define Christian doctrines of today.

Patrick Madrid: If your Catholic or need Catholic based answers then Patrick Madrid is your man. Patrick use to head the Right Here Right Now radio show now done by Chris Aubert. Patrick is kind of the Catholic Bible Answer Man that fully backs every answer and statement with scripture and Biblical fact.

When I found his radio program one day while driving home I was hooked, a bit skeptical at first being protestant I quickly learned a Christian who is saved by grace in the Name of Jesus is a Christian it matters not if they are Baptist,  Catholic or Assembly of God. Patrick taught me not to fear Catholics or Catholic doctrine but to embrace their knowledge understand the doctrine and adapt it to mine for what I hope can be a better complete person.

J. Budziszewski: Budziszewski is one of the best on the authority of Natural Law and his book “What we can’t not know” is to one of the best guides written on Natural law. If you don’t know what natural law is your shorting yourself in knowledge and Budziszewski is long on knowledge so much so this book alone should be a required read for every seminary student.

I personally had no clue what natural law was until one day listening to Patrick Madrid radio program he mentioned it, being new to the Right Here Right Now show and again suspect of Catholic understanding I asked CRI to recommend a author on the subject of Natural Law and they recommended Budziszewski.

Thinking CRI would recommend a Protestant writer I was later to find out Budziszewski was born and raised as a Baptist and later converted over to Catholic. He told me personally when he was Baptist he looked more at the Catholic concepts of Christianity and now that he moved to Catholic he now looks at Protestants as having many ideas that are ahead of the Catholic concepts I guess a man of both worlds.

Natural law is my newest study and it has changed my life and ideas on how to approach Christianity. If you can read natural law and grasp it and trust me it can be hard to grasp, I’m still hanging on it will change your life and concepts of God. It won’t change God, his grace and salvation but the way you view how society has pulled away from the ideas of morality, and the way God has set up his love, morality, ethics and the way God expects us to live. The subject has made me better.

This is my list of people and books that have impacted my life personally I write these down in hopes you the reader can think and list your own books and or persons that impact or have impacted your life and if you lack any you might try and give these books or sites a read or a listen.

Ultimately God has to be the one that influences and impacts your life but sometimes we need other people or another set of eyes to put things into perspective.

Ones to avoid: The list is long so I’m just putting a few down that at this time are the most popular in our culture.

Rob Bell: Not only has he sold out to the Oprah doctrine he is currently leading people astray with remarks like “I think culture is already there and the church will continue to be even more irrelevant when it quotes letters from 2,000 years ago as their best defense, when you have in front of you flesh-and-blood people who are your brothers and sisters, and aunts and uncles, and co-workers and neighbors, and they love each other and just want to go through life with someone.”

The remark was from when Oprah asked if Bell thought Christians are ready to compromise with homosexuality, the letters from 2000 years ago are the letters of the saints, in the New Testament Bible basically Bell is saying Peter, Paul, Jude, James, John and Luke are irrelevant.

Bell has abandoned the Bible and has made a new doctrine of love yourself as you would want others to love you. Forget the saints of the New Testament is to say the Holy Spirit is irrelevant to today’s world. Don’t even get mixed up with this kind of talk stay away and seek God and a healthy church.

Oprah and OWN: Oprah and her doctrine are nothing short of social and spiritual poison, if you are looking for peace and inspiration try the Bible or a good healthy church.

Joel Osteen: God is not an ATM and you are not being punished for not having a million dollars. I’m not saying Joel is leading people from God but I am saying nothing the Osteen’s say is worth your time unless it’s a choice between Oprah, Rob Bell and Osteen I then would choose Osteen but first I think turning off the TV would be a better choice.

Last week Pope Francis invited gay Catholics to the Vatican giving them the VIP treatment, the concept that many Catholic and Protestant hierarchy has been homosexuality is not a sin only the acts of homosexuality is. Basically calling yourself gay is not a sin much like saying your a alcoholic, drug addict or a swinger the name is not the sin but the acts are the sin in motion.

I get the idea of what Francis is doing, bringing the outcast front and center and showing them love instead of condemnation and judgment I believe it’s what Jesus would have done if homosexuals were a big part in his time.

You might say “ well homosexuality was in Jesus’ time” and yes it was even before his time but homosexuality was considered a fringe deviance in most eyes of the Jews. It was condemned by God and in Old Testament law. I believe Jesus was sent here to save us, sin would always be in and around us but God needed to send us a way out give us through his grace salvation.

At first my question was is Pope Francis and other pastors condoning homosexuality by putting groups like New Ways Ministries front and center giving them the VIP treatment or a pass, promoting the gay movement? Then I thought what would Jesus do?

Remember Zacchaeus he was a tax collector a very hated group of people. Tax collectors were disliked by everyone since they not only collected from the poor but the rich as well and were well known for skimming off the top and pocketing a little for themselves everyone disliked the tax collectors they sinned with no remorse.

I believe this is why Jesus put much compassion with Zacchaeus, he saw a man who was looking for Jesus and did anything it took to hear him speak, even climbed a sycamore tree. Jesus went as far as inviting himself to Zacchaeus house for dinner out in the open a known sinner. This act by Jesus cause Zacchaeus to repent and change his ways and become saved Luke 19 verses 1-10

Now the contrast to what not only Pope Francis is doing here but other pastors that fall into the same idea of accepting and bringing in the homosexual movement into the church is that Jesus always accepted people for who they were but never accepted or condoned their sin.

Jesus walked and talked to sinners but he never asked them to continue to sin and always told them there was a better way to follow him which basically meant repent and follow God remember the Samaritan woman at the well John 4: 1-26

There is nothing wrong with Pope Francis inviting New Ways Ministries to the Vatican, I would expect any pastor to invite anyone whether they be gay, strait, drug addicted or you name it to church but I would not expect a pastor or church leadership to condone and accept the lifestyle but to counter the sin with God’s love and the chance to repent and live the life Jesus would want us to live.

We have to understand that yes Christianity has different doctrines but all healthy doctrines holds true to one way and point to the same direction. Sin is in all of us but God expects us to strive for a sinless life, and with the death and resurrection of Jesus forgiveness is now obtainable John 3:16

What Christianity cannot have or ever condone is the watering down of God’s word, the altering of his natural law and the callus acceptance of sin as not a sin. Jesus said in Matthew 7: 15-20 to basically watch out for people that give the wrong Gospel and the Holy Spirit confirms this another way in Revelations 3: 15-22.

What am I getting at is basically we can’t change or water down Gods word and many groups like New Way Ministries are doing this. When God commands something in law and the Holy Spirit continues to reiterates and confirms the same concept we cannot we dare not change or tinker with God’s word.

I get what is going on here but men of God in leadership positions have to understand what I’m trying to spelling out. These groups are seeking to change God’s word, they want the sin part to be gone or have us look the other way but we can’t.

We can have compassion, we should and need to but people that struggle with these issues have to know what they are doing is sin and the Gospel cannot be changed to justify sin.

Illogical and absurd Monday 1-26

Daniellion

Welcome to Monday and more illogical and absurd articles and blogs from the left media to discuss around the water cooler.

Believe it or not it was a slow illogical and absurd week in the progressive agenda due to the state of the union address and deflated footballs I suspect but still there were a few to not ignore.

First up the progressives are panicking over the 2014 election, scared to death ironically that they may no longer be able to kill unborn children. CNN publishes “How states are playing politics with women’s bodies”

Progressives love to frame abortion like this, “it’s our bodies your taking away a woman’s right to end her unborns life”. The article is scary to think our society is demanding this but reality is It’s not, abortion is becoming an extreme idea.

Part of the article reads as this “After she was unable to get the care she needed at the clinic closest to her, she left her small town in the Texas panhandle and went to Oklahoma, where she was told that her pregnancy was too far along to receive an abortion there. So she came to us.”

The writer of the article tries to call an abortion medical care, whatever happened to do no harm I guess they forgot that one. Those of us who oppose abortion are called anti-choice yet does not the choice start before the baby is made.

You choose to have sex and bam a child is made, yes we know pro abortion advocates will want to use rape and incest to condone abortion but be honest this is a tiny percent and believe it or not there are churches and groups out there that will take on the responsibility for these babies that are born.

If a culture wants to hang on to a small percentage and condone killing knowing unborn children are living and feeling inside the mother  then we now have a corrupt and bankrupt society.

Next Slate publishes a blog from Alternet so this is kind of a two for one for these two progressive rags. “The 12 worst ideas religion has unleashed on the world”

The shocking thing is they actually pick on more than one religion. Normally leftist progressives will focus on Christians or Christianity but I have to say they seemed to try and spread the love hate here. I’m going to just lay out the Christian points since I’m not Muslim or Hindu, I’ll stay out of their domain.

First of the 12 ideas they go after is the concept of Chosen people: This is where lack of reading and understanding your Biblical text bites you and shoots out a red flag in this article, for sure an atheist wrote this (Valerie Tarico).

Chosen people is not an idea it was a name given by God in the Old Testament to Abrahams lineage aka children of Abraham then later defined as the Jews or Hebrews. In the New Testament after dying for our sins by Jesus then his resurrection the chosen people now extend to everyone that excepted Jesus as their  personal savior in their hearts and minds aka salvation.

Only God knows who will except his gift of salvation so only God has chosen these people something atheist and people not willing to give themselves to God can understand.

Heretics: people don’t like the word because it calls them out on their corrupting of God’s word. Heretics tend to water down Gods word or misinterpret Biblical text to fit their immorality.

Atheists look at it as religious people not being tolerant of others belief but as Christians we have to follow the basis of God’s word.

We are not to add to or take away to fit our needs. God fits our needs and we have to add to or take away from our lives to receive what God can give us.

Holy War: Something we see in Islam constantly and it’s apart of their culture. Early Catholic leadership used this to try and free Israel and fight back Islam but in all reality Christians do not fight in Holy wars not for the last few hounded centuries.

What one century mistake made has always followed the Catholic Church and Christianity but let’s be real guys Christians don’t do holy wars.

Blasphemy: Again the writer not understanding Biblical text somewhat gets this wrong in the Christian definition; they have it right in the Islamic definition.

God gives us free will so the ability to disbelieve in God is tolerated but does not go unpunished but man will not dole out that punishment that will be left up to God.

Making fun of Christians and God is something Christians do not like or encourage but living in a free society we have to deal with it and sometimes except its existence but we as Christians are not to harm the offender but to defend God with truth and righteousness.

Glorified suffering: Something that is not really practiced anymore. The definition given in this the article is basically an old concept of injuring one’s self to keep you on the narrow path of right.

Tarito use the crucifix as a glorified torture again not understanding Biblical history can bite you. God does not and has not suggested injuring one’s self as a means to make things right, this is a man made concept.

Forgiveness has always been God’s way of making things right since the resurrection of Jesus. Our suffering as Christians do glorify Gods name and I go back to again not knowing and understanding your Biblical text and history will mislead you from the truth.

Genital mutilation: something Islam is known for not Christianity or Jews but Tarico has the stones to say circumcision is a form of genital mutilation talk about being out of touch and hating anything that God has commanded is but wow.

Hell: Yes hell is in the Bible because God created hell, Tarico suggest it is used to change or curb bad behavior and to a degree it is used.

Man still sins and does bad things no matter if there is a heaven or hell. If there is no hell then there is no heaven, the idea of everyone except Hitler is going to heaven is just not reality or Biblical.

Christians are not happy that people Hitler and Stalin existed but they do and did and God has made a place for them.

Christians don’t want to see anyone walk that path but it is a reality since God gave free will. If the concept of hell scares you to do the right thing and seek God out then that’s not a bad thing in my opinion.

Eternal Life: Atheist hate this because it’s not fare so they call this a fairytale. Tarico again lacks the Biblical understanding and states the problem with eternal life is it keeps people from seeing the beauty of what we already have on earth.

“The real reason that the notion of eternal life is such a bad invention, though, is the degree to which it diminishes and degrades existence on this earthly plane. With eyes lifted heavenward, we can’t see the intricate beauty beneath our feet. Devout believers put their spiritual energy into preparing for a world to come rather than cherishing and stewarding the one wild and precious world we have been given”-Torico

Not so, eternal life is just a bigger reward. What is here on this earth is be bigger in heaven and in the new earth that God will have waiting for us. Believe me I have seen some of Gods greatest creations in this country and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for the next.

Male Ownership of Female Fertility: This idea is a complete misunderstanding of Biblical text to think God condones female ownership and women are slaves to men. No God celebrates women baring children as a great gift. Women were created by God to have children to continue the human race how much more of a gift from God could there be.

Bibliolatry (aka Book Worship): Now this is really stretching it and again the lack of understanding Biblical text shows us just how much lack of knowledge is at play here.

The concept of Bibliolatry is a direct contradiction of the 1st commandment and nobody that follows God and seeks the truth of Jesus worships the Bible they worships God of the Bible.

I suspect that Tarico thinks all religious idea are bad, I do feel she made some progress by adding Islam and Hindu to the list but but also loses it with some very illogical and communist remarks.

Pretty much she is reaching on most of these concepts. There is a lot of misunderstanding, hate, lack of Biblical studying and understanding of who and what God is so we can’t expect much with this blog.

Mr. T

END OF THE WEEK JAN 23

END OF THE WEEK LOWDOWN DIRTY SAME OF IT ALL JAN 23

End of the week and this was a pretty big one, odd how it seesaws’ up and down like that.

First off; State of the union where our President has assured us “the shadow of crisis has passed, and the state of the union is strong.” Almost the way a king or god might say it or a wannabe king or god.

Besides telling us we are safe he also want to give everything away for, free collage, money, phones, houses you need it and can’t afford it somebody else will pay for it.

Movie American Sniper rolled out over 160 million dollars worth of movie as Hollywood tells the story of American Hero Chris Kyle and guess who is jealous. Seth Rogan and Michael Moore chime in to try and discredit both Kyle and the movie. First with Moore calling Kyle a coward. Rogan next by calling the movie Nazi propaganda.

Moore the true communist, he makes no apologies while Rogan cowers and tries to say well I didn’t mean that, maybe Moore was confused about what movie had the coward.

42 years ago yesterday January 22 the American government died, as Row v Wade was decided that abortion was legal and you the American citizen may have to pay for it.

This does not mean Americans are evil or died with its supreme court, no as an American I am against abortion and will keep this issue in prayer.

As Americans we can make a choice not to follow this destructive path and pledged to defend the lives that cannot defend themselves.

Some good reads this week; first off from Brietbart Billy Crystal wants TV to stop shoving gay’s scenes in his face. Something I have been saying for some time yet, Hollywood does have an agenda, to make us think this just fine and normal. They want your kids to think it and they want you to think it but I’m not thinking it nor will I ever will think that.

From BarbWire Deacon Keith Fournier writes about Martin Luther King Jr’s dream speech and how this needs to include the unborn children as well. “Never ever forget what Hitler did in Germany was legal”

Breitbart spells out how our president vows to protect the right to have an abortion, sad our leader wants to kill children.

From Charisma Magazine Pope Francis has to tinker with his comments “Breed like rabbits” I guess the Pope should have read my blog that explained what he meant, maybe I need to apply for Popes PR man or proof his speeches. In the end the Pope tries to blame poverty on economic inequality again walking that fine line of socialist communism that is going to bite Francis hard someday or make him a world leader.

Again from Charisma Anderson Cooper tries to tackle Larry Tomczak comments that Hollywood has an agenda. This video goes to show us just how out of touch silver spoon Cooper is to the real world.

Again from Charisma Magazine Larry Tomczak fires back at Ellen DGeneres in response to both Cooper and Ellen, this is a great video well worth seeing if you’re trying to defend traditional marriage.

And finally from Barb Wire John Kerry and James Taylor go on tour together in Paris to sing “you got a friend” to France. President could not make it so lets send singing Kerry and Taylor to smooth things over.

Like I said busy week in the news, I too churned out three blogs this week. Illogical and absurd Monday where I took some of the most illogical and absurd blogs and articles of the left and progressive and put them in more of a moral and ethical perspective fill free to take a look

To Canard is error to Reed is denied, I’m a big motocross and supercross fan I love off road motorcycles. Last week two racers Trey Canard and Chad Reed crashed into each other and I go over who was to blame and did the punishment and crimes make it all worthwhile for the both of them.

Ungrateful Success was my take on the American Sniper Michael Moore and Rogan jealousy freak out. Pretty much Moore is a liar and Rogan is a jealous coward read and you be the judge.

Little past halfway in the month and we here in California need rain!!! Yeah it’s been nice weather but we need rain. Also stay healthy there has been some nasty’s going around and people are getting sick so up that vitamin C if you will.

ILLOGICAL AND ABSURD MONDAY #3

ILLOGICAL AND ABSURD MONDAY JANUARY 19TH

It’s Monday again and time for some more Illogical and absurd articles from main stream media. Somewhat of a slow news week so the progressives kind of pushed the throttle down on a few of these articles rehashing some old ideas that they would love us to pay for or make illegal.

First up from the Huffington Post “Charlie Hebdo Editor Slams News Organizations for Not Publishing their Cartoons” Now the gist here is editor Gerard Biard feels that if the main stream media really is free speech they should have reported and showed their cartoons in Charlie Hebdo in a solidarity move to show the free world is not afraid of terrorism.

charlie-hebdo-frontpage

Ok let’s understand who the main stream media is, they make up of cowards that shout from a glass door. Main stream media has no problem standing up for freedom of speech and expression when they know it won’t get them killed. They are not afraid of Christians or Buddhist because they know Christians won’t retaliate but with Islam they are afraid.

Biard states every time they draw a cartoon of Mohammad or God they defend freedom of speech and I say no you don’t. Every time you draw a cartoon blaspheming God or any other religious symbol you are doing just that blaspheming a symbol that somebody holds important.

If you have no believes in anything then it makes it easy for you to make the statement your defending freedom of speech but look at it this way. If I were to tell unflattering embellishments about you or your family you might get offended you might even try and sue me.

Charlie Hebdo is a vulgar magazine at times, I’m not going to storm the doors and shoot your entire cartoonist but you insult my faith at times and I see nothing but insults not freedom in what you do.

Next article from Time “Pope Francis Opposes Contraceptives During Address of Millions in Philippines” I’m mainly mention this article by Time on the basis of I’m following the Pope due to his embracing of climate change and environmentalism which is nothing short than communism and communism embraces population control.

Pope Francis waves from the popemobile after leading a Mass at Rizal Park in Manila

Progressives and leftist love it when Pope Francis preaches about climate change and compromising on evolution but they hate it when people preach about birth control something very important to the Catholic faith.

This is where progressives despise Catholics and Christians for even thinking people take reproductive responsibility. Time keeps it tame but doe quote one person here to dig at the Popes stand on birth control.

They quote Jun Chura a former street child “Many terrible things happened to (street children) like drugs and prostitution,” said a former street child named Jun Chura. “Why is God allowing such things to happen? And why are there only very few people helping us?”

My response to Chura is I might ask you the same question, why are you allowing this to happen. You see the Pope and the Catholic/Christian church do not want to punish people by taking away their contraceptive tools they want you to take responsibility and follow God’s will.

Even if you can financially afford ten children does not mean you have ten children, can you emotionally afford ten children. Psalms 127-128, God blesses one that has children but he does require us to walk with him to be successful. Basically this, if you’re not willing to fear and walk with God then you just might limit your success.

The blog from Slate “French Government: Protesters Don’t Understand Our Values (But We’ll Imprison People for Speech)” is kind of interesting on the account that not only do Muslims and Islam do not get French values but nor does Slate and nor do they get values and freedom.

 protest

France has some interesting laws that are very free when it comes to speech but very strict when speech and expression becomes treason. France allows freedom of speech to a degree but when it become treasonous it can levy a stiff penalty in jail time something America seems not to practice thus is why Slate probably just does not get it.

The issue is Islam has no clue what true freedom is, both the Islamist practicing countries have little or no freedom and the religion its self has no freedom either.

Most progressive’s lack the understanding of freedom and values as well, feeling a government entitled society is freedom they just do not get free will and rugged individualism and their value system has no value.

The French are trying to play sides, embracing European socialism and still trying to stay as a free state can be quite complicated and will yield a very unfair society.

US NEWS and World Reports “U.S. Stands Alone on Lack of Paid Leave” published this blog on how the U.S. just won’t increase its taxes on the American People and pay for mothers to stay home with their children.

paid

At this point pretty much if you’re a mother or father you have to option to stay at home for a few months of bonding time without pay.

Those of you that can afford it do so, some have special insurance that pay the whole time and some don’t so they have to come back to work early seems unfair.

Should not a mom and a dad bond with their new born child why are the American people not willing to be taxed enough so all moms and dads at least the moms be paid to stay home?

You have to put yourself in the eyes of the employer; I know that evil corporation you work for that just makes tons of money off your sweat. It’s very hard on a company to have to replace somebody for a short time then give that position back.

The concept of free trade and independence is lost if a private business cannot do anything without the federal or state permission.

There is a compromise that our government could make but wont. If staying home and bonding with your child is so important and I believe it is as far as the mother is concerned then why not lower taxes.

Lower income tax maybe end the income tax as we know it, lower gas tax, lower property tax make it so a two parent family can afford for only one to work.

I know that does not work for everyone since everyone makes different pay something progressives would love to change but that’s called communism.

For the most part it would work if we lowered taxes so families could take home more money and have one parent stay home nurturing the children I know it worked for our family.

It’s easy for progressives to cry on this issue saying it’s not fair but their hypocrisy is huge on family values.

They want taxes to increase so both parents have to work, use that tax money so both can stay at home for a short while and bond then send that child to government daycare and public school.

It just seems smarter to lower taxes and have the parent stay home and bond and develop their child instead of having the tax payer do it.

Solon atheist goes all out in “Bill Maher is right about religion: The Orwellian ridiculousness of Jesus, and the truth about moral progress” This is a very long and tedious blog that hates all over Christianity again fear of Islam goes into play and a double standard is used but the writer Michael Shermer does attack the Jews and Mormons as well but I’m sure in his mind anyone that uses the Bible or Biblical ideas is bad.

2 Seat Interview: Bill Maher and Ralph Nader, Author, Unstoppable Panel left to right: Andrew Ross Sorkin - Financial Columnist, New York Times, Co - Anchor, CNBC’s “Squawk Box” ; Doug Heye - Fmr. Comm. Director, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Fmr

Basically Bill Maher is never really quoted but for those of you that don’t know Maher has said that God is a serial killer in the Old Testament.

Both Maher and Shermer don’t back any historical data up but take Biblical text out of order it’s mainly Shermer’s lack of understanding of Old Testament Biblical history of Israel and the tribes and societies that surrounded the Jews.

When you deal with atheists that bring this kind of hate to the table it’s like talking to a brick wall. They use this double standard to hate on Biblical belief and Christianity because they are afraid of Islam.

Christians are an easy target because true Christians practice peace through Christ something Maher and Shermer conveniently don’t read in the New Testament or even mention in their rants.

The truth is Maher and Shermer hate Jews and Christians because we try and live Gods truth, no we are not perfect we make mistakes but God forgives us something that Shermer I would bet hates to admit.

In Shermer’s eyes Christians live this smug holier than thou hypocritical life and they can’t stand that. If he really knew the truth and that is I don’t always live a holy life and yes I’m a hypocrite at times but every day I ask for forgiveness and every day God forgives me

“Meet the Right-Wing Judge Who Just Screwed over the People Taking Care of Your Grandma” From Alternet the same magazine that is willing to expose this judge but wont print Charlie Hebdo. This story is not about a judge but about a union that wants its workers paid more simple as that.

Nursing-home-photo

This story is near to me because I work in health care and at one time I worked in nursing/convalescent homes. I can say to you without a doubt the people that work in these nursing homes do not get paid much but the work is not that technical.

Whether you agree with this judge’s decision or not I will say this, if you really are concern for your loved ones you need to pay for their care because government insurance and that is who is paying for the majority of these people does not pay well meaning the nursing homes don’t get reimbursed well from social security or Medicare.

If you want the best care for your loved ones you’re going to have to pay out of pocket. I know that seems odd all those years of paying in to social security and it does not take care of your parents well welcome to the real world FDR was wrong and your loved ones fell for it.

Finally from Common Dreams “Supreme Court Could Settle Marriage Equality Fight Once and For All” Yes a few people that are not elected and have a job for life will decide on the not marriage equality but decide on the dismantling of God’s union between a man and a woman.

This is why voting is important; all these judges were appointed by a president and allowed in by our representatives that we voted for.

do_not_deny

When it comes to the defense in marriage I use Matthew 19: 4-6 and I refer you to 1 Corinthians 7: 1-16.

The best hope at this time is for the Supreme Court to make this a states rights issue something Jeb Bush used to get out of stating whether he is either for or against the homosexual movement.

The big question then will be if a gay marriage that is legal in California will it still be good in say like Oklahoma. Hugh Hewitt made a good statement on his radio show a few days ago stating that you may have a legal conceal carry permit in Texas but that permit is not valid in New York.

No matter what happens the fall and decline of the defense of marriage is here but it’s not the end. Abortion is legal but we still fight and pray for that issue daily and this issue is no different.
